Day 1: Airport to Tokyo

From Narita Airport, take the Narita Express (N’EX). The journey takes around 60 minutes to Tokyo Station and the train stops at major downtown stations such as Shinjuku and Shinagawa.

If you arrive at Haneda Airport, take the Tokyo Monorail to Hamamatsucho station (20 minutes). Then take the Yamanote Line to central Tokyo.

Day 2: Explore Tokyo

Day 5 alternative: Kanazawa to Kyoto
