This includes the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrailpass.com\/blog\/narita-express\">Narita Line<\/a> and Ueno-Tokyo Line. You can use your Japan Rail Pass on all these services.<\/p>\n<p>There are also <strong>3 non-JR railway services<\/strong> operating out of Kita-Senju Station:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Tokyo Metro<\/strong>\u2019s Hibiya and Chiyoda Lines<\/li>\n<li>The Tobu Railway\u2019s <strong>Tobu Skytree Line<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The Metropolitan Intercity Railway\u2019s <strong>Tsukuba Express<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minor services within the Chiyoda Line include the Odakyu Odawara Line, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrailpass.com\/blog\/jr-joban-line\">Joban Line<\/a>, and Romancecar service. Tokyo Skytree uses the minor Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Kita-Senju_station_layout\">Kita-Senju station layout<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>JR East train station is located on the ground level<\/strong> of Kita- Senju station. Tracks 1 and 2 offer rapid service to Matsudo, Toride, and Tsuchiura. The Narita Line is also available from this platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tracks 2 and 3 run the Joban line for Nippori<\/strong> and Ueno. The Ueno-Tokyo Line bound for Tokyo and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrailpass.com\/blog\/shinagawa-station\">Shinagawa<\/a> also operates on these tracks.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line platforms are located underground<\/strong>. The first track offers Chiyoda Line services to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrailpass.com\/blog\/nippori-station\">Nishi-Nippori<\/a>, Otemachi, and Yoyogi-Uehara.<\/p>\n<p>Romancecar services to Hakone-Yumoto and Katase-Enoshima also run on these tracks. Of particular interest is the historic Senju Ema Yoshida\u2019s House, which still produces traditional lanterns and paper kites.<\/p>\n<p>A number of small <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrailpass.com\/blog\/best-temples-in-japan\">shrines and temples<\/a> in the area have survived to the modern day and are well worth a visit. These include the <strong>Nishiaraidaishi Souji Temple<\/strong> and Hachiman Jinja.<\/p>\n<p>You can find a lot of public artwork in the area, such as a <strong>bronze statue honoring the poet Matsuo Basho<\/strong>.
