This means that they stop at all stations rather than just the main stations. These trains are somewhat slower than other train services such as the fabled bullet trains, reaching maximum speeds of 120 kilometers or 75 miles per hour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tokyo Station<\/strong> provides rail connections to virtually every part of mainland Japan, as well as transfers to other train lines, including the subway and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrailpass.com\/blog\/narita-express\">Narita Express<\/a> to <strong>Narita International Airport<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shimbashi Station and Shinagawa Station<\/strong> are other important stations along the Yokosuka Line. These include <strong>Engakuji<\/strong>, famous for its massive bell; <strong>Shozokuin<\/strong> with its tooth of Buddha; <strong>Tokeiji<\/strong>, known as the \u201cDivorce Temple;\u201d the \u201cNectar Well\u201d of <strong>Jochiji<\/strong>; and <strong>Ennoji<\/strong>, which is dedicated to the \u201cTen Judges of Hell,\u201d among others. Some of the temples were founded nearly 1,000 years ago. The nearby <strong>Kamakura Station<\/strong> provides access to an additional 19 Shinto shrines and 65 Buddhist temples.<\/p>\n<p>The Yokosuka Line travels through the Miura Peninsula along the coast of Tokyo Bay. Locals consider this area a \u201c<strong>summer getaway<\/strong>\u201d from the busy streets of Tokyo. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrailpass.com\/blog\/best-japanese-beaches\">Beaches<\/a> are a must during warm weather, and on a clear day, you may catch a glimpse of the majestic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrailpass.com\/blog\/mount-fuji\">Mount Fuji<\/a>. Or, you can catch a ferry from Kurihama to the larger Chiba peninsula.<\/p>\n<p>Seafood and farmer\u2019s markets also abound on the peninsula.
