Seuls 9 trains ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construits.<\/p>\n<p>Ils \u00e9taient initialement utilis\u00e9s par le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jrailpass.com\/fr\/faq\/nozomi-mizuho-shinkansen\">service Nozomi<\/a> sur les lignes Tokaido Shinkansen et Sanyo Shinkansen. Toutefois, ils sont ensuite pass\u00e9s sur le service Kodama entre Shin-Osaka et Hakata en 2010.<\/p>\n<p>La s\u00e9rie 500 a \u00e9t\u00e9 pens\u00e9e pour<strong> offrir une conduite plus douce et plus s\u00fbre <\/strong>que les mod\u00e8les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents. Il permet une <strong>augmentation de la vitesse maximale <\/strong>dans les virages.
